International Nursery Reports
The International Winter Wheat Improvement Program
(IWWIP) continues to develop diverse germplasm adapted to a wide range of
agro-climatic and production conditions across global winter and facultative
wheat-growing regions. Following extensive multi-location selection and
evaluation, high-performing lines are identified and distributed to IWWIP
collaborators worldwide.
During the 2024–2025 growing season, the 26th
International Winter Wheat Yield Trial – Semi-Arid (IWWYT-SA) and the 27th
International Winter Wheat Yield Trial – Irrigated (IWWYT-IRR) were
successfully distributed. International nursery reports from these trials are
now available to collaborators.
These reports provide comprehensive insights into genotype performance across diverse environments, including detailed information on testing locations and cooperating institutions. They also highlight selected superior lines identified by partners, along with key agronomic traits such as days to heading, plant height, and grain yield. In addition, the reports include disease resistance evaluations, grain quality parameters, and other critical field observations.
