IWWIP 2008 Annual Meeting will be held in Denizli, Pamukkale on 18-20 November 2008. The delegations from the institutes in Turkey that involve to IWWIP activities will be attending meeting.

This year IWWIP management will hold meeting slightly different from previous years. The scientists from abroad will also be attending to the meeting and delivering their speeches on specific topics; Dr. A. Yahyoui (ICARDA-ICWIP, Syria), Dr. David Bonnet (CIMMYT, Mexico), Dr. Ram Sharma (ICARDA, Uzbekistan) will participate. Dr. Mahinur AKKAYA, Middle East Technical University, Ankara will be the invited speaker. Dr. Akkaya will deliver a speech on "Gene function analysis of genes identified with roles in wheat yellow rust resistance."
